Beautifully detailed solid pewter mini stein krug with relief decoration of a Marksman (Freischütz) hunting in the Alps. The left panel shows the marksman with his kill and in the front panel he stops to enjoy his pipe after the kill is processed & ready to take home. The right side shows his skill with hunting calls, luring a mature elk out of the forest, while his horse and dog wait patiently.  Fanciful pillars frame the scenes with oak leaf decoration on the lid. Medallions of wildlife & oak leaves wrap around this schnapps shot krug below the panels.
