This exquisitely detailed, solid pewter beer cup or wheat beer tulip (weizenbiertulpe) with footed base has three panels with relief decorated scenes of a Marksman (Freischütz) hunting in the Alps.  In one panel the marksman lures a mature elk out of the forest, in another he is shown locating the kill and finally in the last panel he stops to enjoy his pipe after the hunt is over.
